Additionally, Generations Healthcare offers its patients behavioral health services, assisted living, and memory care services. Headquartered in Santa Ana, California, Generations Healthcare employs over 1,000 individuals throughout its 29 facilities in California and Nevada.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Generations Healthcare discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Generations Healthcare determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information through employee email accounts between May 24, 2023, and June 13, 2023. Recently, Generations Healthcare began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Address
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
- Financial account information
- Medical information
- Health insurance information
