Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, United Supply Company has 5 branch locations in Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Nashville, Tennessee; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Raleigh, North Carolina.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On April 7, 2023, Selective Enterprises discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Selective Enterprises determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on April 4, 2023. On August 15, 2023, Selective Enterprises began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
