Headquartered in Manchester, Connecticut, Eastern Connecticut Health Network employs approximately 2,600 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On August 3, 2023, Eastern Connecticut Health Network discovered that its parent company, Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc., had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed. While the investigation is ongoing, Eastern Connecticut Health Network determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information through a ransomware attack. At present, the exact type of information exposed has not been made publicly available and Eastern Connecticut Health Network has not yet begun contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted.
