WHAT HAPPENED?
On August 4, 2022, Emmer Bros. discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Emmer Bros. determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on August 4, 2022. On May 30, 2023, Emmer Bros. began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
- Address
- Financial account number
- Payment card information
