WHAT HAPPENED?
On December 20, 2022, Samuels & Son Seafood discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Samuels & Son Seafood determined that an unauthorized actor accessed and obtained this sensitive information between December 1 and December 20, 2022. On January 18, 2023, Samuels & Son Seafood began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
