WHAT HAPPENED?
On July 3, 2022, Medical Associates of the Lehigh Valley discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Medical Associates of the Lehigh Valley concluded that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information by launching a ransomware attack. On September 9, 2022, Medical Associates of the Lehigh Valley began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

- Date of birth
- Address
- Driver’s license number
- Health insurance information
- Email address
